Olivine sand gives advantages in many different industrial applications Natural, sand used as slag conditioner for the steel industry and ballast and covering material, are major volume products. Deliveries varies from ship loads of slag conditioner and ballast- and covering material in to moulding sand for metal casting, delivered in small sacks. Olivine, with almost no processing, can be used for a wide range of highly demanding applications.
